Jaki's Story - She's sooo cute!

Jaki was adopted shortly after Fibi, our first Aussie, died.  Jaki was to be my next performance dog.  Sadly, at 8 mos. Jaki was diagnosed with severe elbow dysplasia and had to have surgery.  So now Jaki gets to stay at home and play couch snuggle buddy with "Dad"!  Jaki is very happy and loves life.  The only thing she really hates is going potty in the rain, don't you know, pwincesses can melt!  She paws at her face as if to say she needs someone to be holding an umbrella for her, cuz she's getting all WET! LOL!

While Jaki can't 'play' like her brother Andy, that doesn't mean she gets to do any less, when time permits we take special "girl outings" and, if I think I have time to 'accommodate the pwincess', she gets to go to shows and trials for "social time".

Jaki is super special to Dale and I, we wouldn't trade her for the world, she may not be able to do all the things we had planned for her but she is so snuggly and entertaining that she more than makes up for any disability.  She can be quite the character!!  Jaki has many friends and fans, to know her is to love her.
